This Wire Termination tool can be used to terminate wires for Zierick Part Number IPC-2-1-T (Surface Mount Insulation Piercing Crimp Terminal for Coaxial Cable) in low volume or in the field (Figure 1).

Crimping Instructions:

Place stripped wire (coax cable needs the outer jacket and braid stripped approximately 0.250”(6.35mm)) into the IPC-2-1-T Coaxial Terminal.
Place the board mounted terminal and cable into the Wire Termination Tool as shown in the picture (Figure 2).
Squeeze the Tool handle to push the terminal down until hand tool releases.
If greater activation force is needed, adjust by loosening Philips screw and turning sprocket to proper setting (Figure 3).
