To our Customers and Suppliers,
I want you all to know that the Zierick team is committed to navigating our way through the COVID-19 situation. What does this mean?
First, we are doing our utmost to maintain our staff's physical and mental well being. We believe that continuing to work and keeping our routines as normal as possible is essential. We have stepped up our cleaning, educated our staff on proper hygiene protocols, provided additional sanitizing supplies and modified our policies on in-plant visitors, all while continuing to produce quality parts.
Our suppliers have assured us that they will continue to deliver raw materials and supplies. As we have been working to reduce our lead times, we have ordered many materials to be here before they are required, so we are able to run parts whenever there is an opening in the production schedule. This means we can expect to continue to work, even if a major supplier were to experience a disruption.
We believe we are part of an "Essential Industry" as defined by local regulations and we will be able to operate in the event of local, county-wide, state-wide or even multi-state "shelter-in-place" orders. We have discussed this with our staff and received their support.
We ask that you notify us of changes in your production needs or delivery schedules. If you make an "Essential Product" and have an increased demand related to the crisis, we will do our best to accommodate you.
In our 100 years of manufacturing we have survived many crises. We will make it through this one.
