About Zierick, an Electronic Manufacturing Company in Mount Kisco
Some components stay in the background right up until they cause trouble. Connectors are usually in that group.
As an electronic components company in Mount Kisco, Zierick has been helping engineers solve complex connection problems since 1919. The focus has always been the same. Build parts that work in production and hold up in real operating conditions.
From automotive systems to medical devices and industrial equipment, Zierick supports applications where reliability is expected, and small failures can create bigger problems.

Meet Our Team

Gretchen Zierick
CEO
Gretchen’s Grandfather founded Zierick Manufacturing Corporation in 1919, making Gretchen the third generation to own the company. She is active in the manufacturing community, engaging with the Council of Industry (COI), Precision Metal Association (PMA), and Women in Manufacturing (WiM).
Gretchen believes that the company’s team-based focus on engineering and process improvements will keep the company growing as new markets develop.
We enjoy the challenges of solving customer problems — they usually lead us to ideas for new products. And we’re always looking for better ways to make the ones we already offer.

Our Mission & Values
As an electronic manufacturing company, Zierick’s job is straightforward: build connection solutions that hold up in real use, not just controlled testing.
Zierick’s approach centers on:
- precision in tooling and manufacturing
- reliability under vibration and repeated mating
- willingness to solve the actual application instead of forcing a stock part into place
Because engineering and manufacturing stay close to the process in Mount Kisco, teams can review changes faster, tighten quality oversight, and support customers over multiple production cycles.
Innovation here is not abstract. It shows up in better retention, easier assembly, and parts that are easier to build into real products.

Capabilities From an Interconnect Solutions Manufacturer
Consistency doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from process control.
Our process as an electronic manufacturing company in Mount Kisco is built around repeatability. Precision metal stamping, forming, and automated assembly all work together to reduce variation across production runs.
Certain projects stay within standard configurations. The rest require custom connector solutions designed around a specific application. Either way, the expectation is the same. The part that gets produced should match the part that was designed.
Application Expertise Across Industries
Every connection solves a different problem.
Some applications need stronger board retention. Some need compact wire-to-board routing. Some need repeatable mating over time. Others need faster assembly with fewer prep steps.
Zierick’s interconnect solutions are designed around those realities.
You’ll see it in wire-to-board connectors used for stable power and signal transfer, as well as board-to-board configurations that support compact PCB layouts. In other cases, insulation piercing connectors help reduce prep time and improve consistency during installation.
The same part is not right for every environment, which is why application fit matters.
Industries We Serve
Zierick components are used across industries where performance is closely tied to reliability:
- Automotive systems dealing with vibration and temperature variation
- Medical devices requiring precision and repeatability
- Aerospace applications with strict performance standards
- Industrial equipment running extended operational cycles
- Consumer electronics with high-density layouts
- Lighting systems requiring consistent electrical performance
You can explore specific connector types and solutions across these applications within our product categories.

Quality, Compliance, And Traceability
For procurement teams, performance alone isn’t enough. It has to be verified.
Zierick’s management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the design and manufacture of electronic and automotive connectors. We also publish RoHS and REACH compliance resources, UL-recognized component information, and supporting technical documents through our resource center.
Materials are traceable. Production is monitored. Compliance resources are available when engineering, quality, or procurement teams need them for review. That helps prevent small documentation gaps from slowing approvals or shipments later.
Engineering Support From An Interconnect Solutions Manufacturer
Not every design challenge should end with “pick the closest part and hope for the best.”
Our electronic components company works with engineering teams on design assistance, prototyping, product modification, custom headers, tooling, qualification support, and connector selection. We can also populate prototype or production boards with many of our standard through-hole connectors for customers who do not want to invest in insertion equipment right away.
This approach positions Zierick as more than an interconnect solutions manufacturer. It makes us a technical partner where design decisions begin affecting throughput, rework, and long-term reliability.

Leadership & Legacy
Zierick’s history still shapes how we operate.
Third-generation ownership remains active in the business, supported by a leadership team across operations, sales, logistics, and finance. That continuity matters when customers are dealing with redesigns, production changes, new approvals, or supply pressure over multiple years.
Many relationships start with one connector, one terminal, or one design question. They continue because the product performs, the process stays controlled, and the team can still help when the next revision comes around.
